Starting Monday, March 17, a cold cyclone will spread across Ukraine. Even in the southern and eastern regions, where it was warm until recently, the temperature will drop significantly. Snow and sleet are expected mainly in the western and northern regions.
According to weather forecasters, in western Ukraine the temperature will range from 0° to +6°. The weather will be cloudy, with snowfalls and sleet. Cold is also expected in the north, the thermometer will show +2°…+4°, only in Sumy region it will be a little warmer – up to +7°. Snow is possible in some areas.
In the eastern regions, Monday will be cloudy, with temperatures of +8°…+11°. Rain is likely in the Luhansk region. Central Ukraine will see a new week without precipitation, only in the Vinnytsia region, wet snow is possible. The temperature will fluctuate within +4°…+9°.
No precipitation is forecast in the south of the country, but even here the temperature will drop to +8°…+10°. The warmest temperature will be in Crimea – up to +13°.
According to folk omens, if the sky is clear and the stars are bright on the evening of March 17, then the summer will be fruitful. However, the arrival of cranes on this day portends a quick warming.
