The Kyiv Crematorium has announced a third procurement for the reconstruction of cremation equipment and has finally signed a contract. The cost of the work will be almost 160 million hryvnias, and the contract will be awarded to a little-known capital company, Blue Sky Tech, which previously only performed small budget contracts.
At the end of November 2025, the Funeral Service of the Kyiv Crematorium concluded an agreement with Blue Sky Tech LLC for the reconstruction of cremation equipment with a complete replacement of furnaces at 16 Baykova St. in the Holosiivskyi district. According to data in the Prozorro electronic system, the cost of the contract is 156.9 million hryvnias. The work is planned to be completed by the end of 2026.
The reconstruction includes replacing furnaces, updating the gas supply, repairing the roof and asphalt concrete pavement. This project has been in preparation since March 2024, when the Crematorium ordered its development from “Europroektbudservis” LLC for 3.2 million hryvnias.
However, the implementation of the works was repeatedly disrupted. In March and July 2025, the Funeral Service twice announced a procurement for the reconstruction, but neither of them was completed. The first was canceled due to the lack of further need, the second - due to the rejection of all the proposals of the participants, including the proposal of “Blue Sky Tech”. Only the third attempt resulted in the signing of the contract.
Blue Sky Tech LLC was registered in Kyiv in 2017. The company’s authorized capital is 1 thousand hryvnias. The main activity is the production of building metal structures. The owner and manager is Maksym Gelyukh, registered in Makiivka, Donetsk region, which has been under occupation since 2014.
According to Clarity Project, the company has participated in 12 public procurements and has signed contracts worth 157.4 million hryvnias. None of its previous contracts were comparable to the current one - the most expensive before that was a contract with NPC Ukrenergo for the repair of equipment in the administration building worth 132 thousand hryvnias.
The funeral service of the Kyiv Crematorium is temporarily headed by Igor Titarenko. The institution is subordinate to the Department of Housing and Communal Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration, headed by Dmytro Naumenko.
