In the Khmelnytskyi region, the prosecutor's office reported suspicion to a 24-year-old woman who inflicted several knife wounds on her husband during a family quarrel.
The investigation established that the incident occurred in a state of intoxication. In the midst of the conflict, the suspect stabbed the man three times in the chest and stomach. The victim received serious, life-threatening injuries, but survived.
The court chose a preventive measure for the woman in the form of night house arrest.
She is charged with attempted murder (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). This crime is punishable by up to 8 years in prison.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
