The US Administration plans to investigate the activities of the Center for Combating Corruption

The new administration of the United States initiated an investigation into the activities of the NGO Center for Combating Corruption (CPC) . US officials intend to check whether the organization was used to influence the judicial and law enforcement system of Ukraine .

"It turns out that Shabunina, Sherembey and Kaleniuk funded a criminal organization," - writes journalist Vladimir Boyko, commenting on the words of the head of the new Department of Public Administration (Doge) by the United States Ilona Mask, who said that USAID is a criminal organization.

On January 25, the Trump administration stopped USAID. In this regard, many foreign aid projects from the United States, including in Ukraine, have been stopped for 90 days.

Among other NGOs, the CPC also received grants from USAID.

We will remind, the DBR is investigating a number of criminal cases against Shabunin: in particular, evasion of mobilization, forgery of NAPC documents, illegal use of the humanitarian and appropriation of the Nissan Pathfinder jeep.
