The warm and dry weather that has been prevailing in Ukraine in recent days due to the anticyclone Konrad will soon begin to change. Already at the weekend, the atmospheric situation will change, leading to a decrease in temperature and the appearance of rain.
This was reported by a weather forecaster from Cherkasy region, Vitaliy Postryhan, on his Facebook page.
According to him, on March 14 and 15, the weather conditions will be influenced by a southern cyclone. It will gradually push the area of high atmospheric pressure north, which will cause the wind direction to change - it will become easterly and northeasterly.
As a result, the air temperature will drop by approximately 2–4 degrees. In particular, in Cherkasy region, temperatures are expected to range from -3 degrees Celsius to -2 degrees Celsius at night, and during the day the air will warm up to +9…+14 degrees.
The forecaster also predicts further weather changes at the beginning of the new working week. According to preliminary calculations, atmospheric processes will be influenced by fronts, which will bring more cloudiness and precipitation.
"There will be less sun, there will be occasional rains, and the daytime temperature will drop to 5–10 degrees Celsius. Dry and cooler weather will prevail in the future," said Postryhan.
According to him, intense warming will slow down, which will also affect the pace of spring natural processes.
Forecaster Natalka Didenko also warns about changing weather conditions. She notes that warm and sunny weather will remain in Ukraine on March 13, but it will become cooler from March 14.
According to its forecast, the daytime temperature will drop to +10…+11 degrees, and from March 17, further cooling is expected - to +4…+10 degrees.
