A native of Crimea, who cooperated with the Russian FSB, will stand up to a court in Kharkiv on charges of committing a number of serious crimes. It is a state treason, the murder of a Ukrainian serviceman, diversion and training of attempts on heads of the region. This was reported by the press service of the Attorney General.
According to the investigation, the accused is a resident of Evpatoria, previously repeatedly convicted. After the occupation of the Crimea, he went to Belgorod, where he agreed to cooperate with the special services of Russia. In 2024 he arrived in Kharkiv with tasks from curators.
In early February 2024, the FSB agent killed a Ukrainian serviceman - he shot him in his back near one of the houses in Kharkiv. After that, the person tried to carry out a series of terrorist attacks, in particular the attempt on the head of the Dergachiv City Military Administration Vyacheslav Zadorenko. Under his car, the attacker installed an explosive, but he noticed it in time and called law enforcement.
Another goal was the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synigubov. For his murder, the agent had to receive $ 50,000 from the Russians. However, this crime also failed.
In addition, the accused set fire to two military cars, after which he disappeared and tried to hide. It was detained at the end of October 2024 in the train.
The investigation has put forward a number of articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including:

terrorist act;

illegal storage of weapons, explosives and ammunition.
In case of guilt, he is threatened with life imprisonment.
This case again confirms the efforts of the Russian Federation to conduct subversive activities not only on the front but also in the deep rear, attacking the representatives of the Ukrainian authorities and defenders of the country.
