Assets worth UAH 200 million of the relatives of Medvedchuk and Kozak were handed over to the state after the arrest

According to the materials of the Security Service and the State Bureau of Investigation, the court seized the corporate rights and property complexes belonging to the brothers of traitorous ex-Deputies Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak. This property has already been handed over to the National Agency for Identification, Tracing and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA).

We are talking about assets worth more than 200 million hryvnias, including a brick production plant in Lviv region, which was managed by Serhii Medvedchuk and Bohdan Kozak as beneficial owners.

In addition, the company's movable and immovable property, in particular land plots with an area of more than 10 hectares, non-residential premises with an area of about 31 thousand square meters, 4 off-road vehicles and several units of special equipment, will be transferred to state management.

The investigation established that during the years 2017-2023, on the instructions of Serhiy Medvedchuk and Bohdan Kozak, the top management of the plant carried out financial manipulations and diverted millions of hryvnias into the shadows.

Thus, the company avoided paying taxes, and those involved appropriated funds that should have gone to the state budget of Ukraine.

Thanks to the intervention of the SBU, this scheme was exposed and stopped.

Now the assets will work for the Ukrainian budget, and part of the funds will be directed to the needs of the Ukrainian army.

Measures to expose and block subversive activities were carried out by operatives of the SBU Office in Lviv region together with SBU investigators under the procedural guidance of the Lviv regional prosecutor's office, the press service of the SBU reported.
