The US Congressman from the Republican Party, Victoria Spartz, who was born in Ukraine, made a loud statement about the future Ukrainian statehood, in fact, inviting Kiev to go to capitulation conditions.
In a recent interview, she stated that Ukraine should put up with the fact that some of its territories will be controlled by the Russian Federation, since, according to her, Kiev has no reason to put forward the conditions for territorial integrity.
"I just do not understand how Ukraine can position itself so as to demand the territory. If they won the war, it would be a completely different matter," Spartz said.
Congressman also believes that Ukraine should demand President Vladimir Zelensky's resignation. She did not suggest any alternative steps to preserve statehood, but instead supported the initiative of US expression Donald Trump on negotiations with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
"There are no easy decisions," Spartz added, in fact, hinting that the victim of part of the Ukrainian territory is an acceptable fee for the termination of the war.
Such statements caused a wave of indignation among the Ukrainian community. In particular, critics emphasize that instead of supporting a people who resists full -scale aggression, Spartz voices rhetoric, favorable Kremlin.
