American government officials have confirmed the information that the missile attack on the Bryansk region of Russia was carried out with the use of ATACMS high-precision weapons. This was reported by the leading American mass media, in particular the Reuters and the CNN .
It is stated that the strike was carried out "as part of the new US policy, which no longer imposes a ban on Ukraine from using American long-range missiles against targets in Russia."
Geolocation of the video confirms that the strike was on an ammunition depot in the city of Karachev. Earlier, Ukraine already tried to attack it with drones.
But "it is still difficult to judge the results of the strike" because "thick cloud cover makes it impossible to confirm or deny these statements with the help of satellite images," Radio Liberty clarifies.
As a reminder, Russia claims to have shot down all the missiles and damaged one. Moscow denies the destruction caused by the flight.
