Andriy Kobolev, NABU accused of illegal premiums, went abroad

Kolishnye Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolev, who is accused of appointing multimillion -dollar bonuses, left the territory of Ukraine. This information was confirmed during a hearing of the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court (Wax).

So, last week, the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court had a regular meeting in Kobolev's case, during which it was found that the suspect was outside Ukraine.
In particular, Kobolev did not appear in the courtroom, but joined the meeting through video conferencing.

The prosecutor did not object to his participation due to video communication from abroad. At the same time, the prosecutor emphasized the risks of Kobolev's non -return to Ukraine because of "fears of criminal responsibility".

"He may not return from this trip," the prosecutor said.

It is not known when Kobolev left Ukraine.

At the same time, on December 3, the SAP announced that it was a ban for Kobolev to leave Ukraine. The corresponding decision was made by Wax. But later it became known that due to the description of this decision, the WACS did not come into force until December 17.

In particular, the decision of the BCS of December 3, the judges granted the petitions of prosecutors and decided to put the following procedural responsibilities on Kobolev: to inform investigators about the change of residence, not to communicate with witnesses, to pass all foreign passports.

However, the term of the decision was prescribed - "By March 3, 2024". That is, it was a period of time that has long been. Therefore, after December 3, 2024, Kobolev continued to be outside the measure of restraint and relevant procedural restrictions and could go abroad quietly.

And only on December 17 did the WAKS issued a separate decision to correct the error. She judges established procedural restrictions for Kobolev - "until March 3, 2025".

In January, it became known that the Wax Appellate Chamber refused to consider the ban on Kobolev to leave Ukraine.

We will remind, Andriy Kobolev was the chairman of the board of Naftogaz of Ukraine from March 26, 2014 to April 28, 2021.

In January 2023, the SAP and NABU reported Kobolev of suspicion of receiving it in 2018 $ 10 million (at that time UAH 260 million (the amount exceeds the normatively determined amounts of such payments - UAH 37.48 million) About payment of this prize and independently set its size.

Naftogaz's expert threatens from 7 to 12 years behind bars. It should be noted that the court refused to send the former head of Naftogaz in a pre -trial detention center. In early March, Kobolev was obliged to wear an electronic bracelet.

On September 25, 2023, Kobolev twice was reduced from the collateral, from UAH 229 to 107 million and canceled the electronic bracelet.
