Deputy Head of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Volyn region, Serhiy Zhuravlev, regularly uses his father's property and receives significant cash gifts from him. This is evidenced by his declarations in recent years.
Zhuravlev took office in July 2024 and settled with his wife and daughter in the village of Tarasove near Lutsk in the house of a well-known developer. The official's declarations indicate that he uses his father's cars and apartments, and also receives large sums of money from him.
Back in 2015, while working at the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Prosecutor's Office, Zhuravlev declared the use of his father's Toyota Camry and received his first cash gift of UAH 50,000. Later, he received new cars - a Toyota Avalon, a BMW 535, a BMW X5, and a FORD MUSTANG.
In 2023, Zhuravlev declared the purchase of a MERCEDES-BENZ GLS 400 for UAH 2.4 million, although the NACP notes that the real cost of the car could have been about UAH 3.4 million. In addition, in 2023, his father gave him another UAH 1.3 million.
There is no information in open registers that Zhuravlev's father has a business, individual entrepreneur, or his own company, which raises questions about the sources of the property and monetary gifts.
