The last weekend of 2024, December 28 and 29, will delight Ukrainians with relatively warm and calm weather. The absence of significant precipitation, little wind and small temperature fluctuations will create comfortable conditions for New Year's walks and preparations for the holidays.
As the well-known forecaster Nataliya Didenko reported in her Telegram channel, the weather for the weekend will be determined by an anticyclone. "The synoptic situation will be calm, without significant wind, the maximum will be moderate," the expert clarified.
Temperature indicators
- In most areas, daytime temperatures will range from 0 to +4°C.
- At night in the east (night of December 28) and west (night of December 29), thermometers can show up to -3°C.
- Cloudy and windy weather is expected in Kyiv with a temperature of around 0°C at night and up to +2°C during the day.
Although no significant precipitation is expected these days, there may be drizzle in places due to cloudy and foggy weather.
Looking into the forecast for December 31, Natalia Didenko warned about a slight drop in temperature, as well as the possibility of precipitation in the form of wet snow in the north and northeast of the country, in particular in Kyiv.
So, the last weekend of December promises to be favorable for active recreation in the fresh air, and New Year's Eve may add a bit of a winter fairy tale in the form of snow.
