The head of the Department of Prevention and Detection of Corruption of the Kyiv City State Administration Oleg Tymoshenko in 2024 declared a significant increase in income. According to the Declaration, its total income amounted to UAH 1.44 million, of which almost 1.2 million - wages, 250 thousand - pension, and another 10 thousand - a subsidy. Such a financial result is twice as high as in 2023, when the official still worked at the Municipal Protection.
However, the main issues are not only an increase in income, but also the structure of family savings. The wife of the official Victoria Tymoshenko does not officially have any sources of income, but it is the main currency accumulation of the family - 29 thousand dollars and 24 thousand hryvnias. It looks especially strange against the backdrop of the fact that a year ago it had $ 53,000, which were also declared as "her own".
Another interesting detail - the only car of the family, Volkswagen Tiguan 2020, was issued for his wife on November 11, 2023, almost immediately after Tymoshenko's appointment by the head of the KSCA Anti -Corruption Unit. The official himself officially uses the old Mitsubishi Galant, which he does not belong.
In Kiev, the anti -corruption man lives in an apartment, and his only housing in occupied Bakhmut, purchased two weeks before the start of a full -scale invasion. Therefore, in fact, the official does not have any real estate in the controlled territory, as he does not indicate any rented or invented real estate except official.
The declaration - also 1.05 million UAH in cash, which may seem quite logical against the background of annual income, but in combination with the accumulation of the wife without any official activity - raises questions.
Tymoshenko heads the Department, which should identify corruption risks in KSCA structures, including tenders, property issues and official abuse. Against this background, the lack of clearly explained sources of origin of the wife's wealth in the declaration, as well as a sharp jump in finances after appointment - look not as a "technical mistake", but as signs of a classic conflict of interest.
While the anti -corruption authorities of the capital are engaged in checking others, it is worth paying attention to those who control the system from the inside.
