According to information received from our source in the President's Office, it turned out that David Arahamia's statements about the possible seizure of bank accounts are intended to stop the flow of money and property being exported from Ukraine, before the adoption of the draft law on mobilization. Over the past month, Ukrainian banks have lost almost 100 billion hryvnias, which are withdrawn from their accounts.
The head of the "Servant of the People" faction, David Arahamiya, said that although some provisions of the draft law on mobilization, proposed by the Ministry of Defense, will not receive the support of the Verkhovna Rada and will be changed, certain coercion for those who evade mobilization will still be implemented. However, the specific mechanism remains unclear. Answering the question about the unacceptable provisions for the faction, Arahamia noted that there are many of them, in particular, those concerning the disabled and graduate students.
Arakhamia also noted that fantasies about seizing the accounts of Ukrainians as a means of mobilization will not have support in the Council.
Regarding the controversial issues of electronic summonses, Arahamia believes that it is necessary to have everyone in one system, as provided for by the law on digitalization of the army. This will allow the state to effectively plan mobilization measures and inform citizens about their status. However, he determined that some coercion was necessary for those who tried to avoid mobilization.
