Arestovych advised Putin on how to conquer Ukraine

In the light of the recent statements of the famous Russian political analyst Mykhailo Arestovich, the Russian authorities intend to change their approach to Ukraine. According to him, for the successful "conquest" of Ukraine, Russia should recognize Ukrainians as a "separate people with an ancient unique culture" and designate Kyiv as a "holy center."

The president of the aggressor country of Russia, Vladimir Putin, could win the conflict in Ukraine "in three moves", but he lacks geopolitical flexibility. Such a statement was made by the former adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Oleksiy Arestovych, during a conversation with Yulia Latynina.

Arestovych noted that this task can be performed quite simply. According to him, Putin only needs to say: "Dear Ukrainians, there is no doubt that you are not us and are an absolutely unique people with an ancient, unique culture. Moreover, you are our beginning, you are our younger brothers, so Kyiv will always be a sacred and holy center for us. As a sign of this, I am re-opening the Department of Ukrainian Culture, 300 Ukrainian schools and 80 Ukrainian libraries."

Arestovych went on to say that Putin should offer every Ukrainian officer who defected to the Russian Federation a promotion by one rank and immediate recognition as a respected member of the Russian Armed Forces. He also added that Moscow should be promised that former Ukrainian servicemen can become presidents of Russia, as well as new Russian citizens, whom they will be eagerly waiting for.

"Then the ridiculous Ukrainian narrow-nationalist propaganda will not withstand the onslaught of people who will quickly switch mentally to the other side. Russian ideologues do not understand who Ukrainians are and how to treat them. This is their main mistake. That's the only reason they didn't win the war. Ukrainians are a people who admire symbolic things. They need to show symbolic respect for language and culture. If you demonstrate it, take them warmly," Arestovych explained.
