Tesla, Lexus, and apartments with "strange" prices found in the declaration of the head of the Poltava region's traffic police

The newly appointed head of the State Tax Service in Poltava region, Serhiy Levchenko, has significantly increased his wealth in recent years. His declaration includes luxury cars and apartments, but the value of the property is several times lower than the real market value. This raises questions about the origin of the funds and the transparency of the transactions. This is reported by the Absolution detective agency.

In 2022, Levchenko purchased a Tesla Model 3 electric car for UAH 1.6 million. The following year, he declared ownership of an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 65 sq m for UAH 1.4 million. Similar housing in the capital is significantly more expensive on the market.

In 2024, a new purchase appeared in the declaration - his wife became the owner of an apartment in Uzhhorod with an area of 74 sq m, which was estimated at only 575 thousand UAH. At the same time, the cost of a square meter on the market is several times higher.

In addition, a Lexus NX 200 SUV was registered for his wife, the value of which in the declaration is indicated as UAH 86,000, while the average market price of this model exceeds UAH 1.4 million.

Understatement of prices in the declaration creates the impression of non-transparent transactions and may indicate concealment of the real value of the property. Against the backdrop of a series of high-profile corruption scandals in the tax sphere, such facts will inevitably attract the attention of the public and regulatory authorities.
