Ukrainian musician Mykhailo Khoma, known by the stage name DZIDZIO, decided to abandon his usual image and temporarily stop performing entertaining songs, at least for the duration of the war.
Explaining his decision, he noted that he feels an increased responsibility towards the youth, the future generation and the state. "When a person has something to lose, he has great will and freedom. However, when there is a sense of responsibility towards children, the next generation and the state, you understand that you have to bear this responsibility," he said during an interview on the YouTube channel.
Adding that life would be boring without personal growth, Mykhailo Khoma also thanked his fans who loved his cheerful image, which was often used on stage.
It should be noted that even before the start of the war, the singer recorded an inspiring version of the National Anthem of Ukraine, and after the Russian aggression, he performed many patriotic songs, including collaborating with Oleksandr Ponomariov and other famous musicians. In addition, during concert tours, DZIDZIO raised a significant amount of funds to support defenders of Ukraine and soldiers of the armed forces. For information, the image of DZIDZIO with a beard was introduced back in 2008, when Homa started his creative activity together with other musicians, and their songs became popular hits, winning the love and support of a wide audience.
