Motherland and Strike concluded a political alliance before the election

Yulia Tymoshenko and Vitaliy Klitschko have reached a new level of political cooperation. It has long been told unofficially, but recent events in the Kyiv City Council and in parliamentary circles confirm that the Union is already working. According to sources in the capital's authorities, the parties agreed the "conceptual" agreement on the distribution of roles in the future elections.

In Kiev, the Motherland will receive a 30% list for elections to the Kyiv City Council, the strike - the remaining 70%. In turn, in the parliamentary elections, the situation will be reversible: 70% of the quota will receive the "Motherland", and 30% - a party of Klitschko. Such a schedule looks advantageous for both sides - Klitschko retains control over the capital, Tymoshenko gets a chance to return to a large policy through an untwisted network of impact.

The first signal was the actions of the Motherland in the case of removal of Vladimir Bondarenko from the post of secretary of the Kyiv City Council. Initially, the Tymoshenko faction signed an appeal together with the "servants of the people", but during the secret ballot, its representatives did not give a single vote. Thus, formally supporting Bankova's initiative, they actually sabotaged it.

The second marker was the vote for the strike, which enhances the authority of the mayor of Kiev and deprives the influence of the Chief of the KMVA. The homeland supported the document almost in full, except those who are considered to be close to Denis Komarnitsky - a shadow curator of part of the Kyiv City Council.

On Bankova, this game has already been noticed. And if there were still attempts to "flirt" with Tymoshenko, now they are getting smaller. It is not only a political signal, but also a potential threat to financial donors of both parties.

Tymoshenko close to Tymoshenko Molchanov, business partners of her environment Andriy Verevsky and Yuri Kosyuk, as well as other great players have every chance of getting into the field of view of law enforcement agencies. A similar situation has already happened to Ilya Kaufman, Konstantin Zhevago, Viktor Bondarev, the same Komarnitsky and even Roman Nasirov - his wife, by the way, is still a deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the Motherland.

Political game for Kyiv is gaining momentum. The Union of Tymoshenko and Klitschko can radically change the schedule not only in the capital but also at the national level. But this union also threatens a number of conflicts with Bank - especially if it is started as a real threat to the influence of the President's office.

It will probably show whether this union will be a situational coalition for the sake of elections, or the beginning of a deeper political alliance.
