Drones for the "Drone Army" were purchased at inflated prices

Hromadske journalists conducted an in-depth investigation, which showed that drones for the "Drone Army" program, which was under the supervision of the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, were purchased at inflated prices. These data caused a wave of indignation and concern among the public, and also called into question the effectiveness of managing budget funds in wartime conditions.

As a result, the state lost almost UAH 600 million on them.

Drones were purchased by the State Special Communications from the Krion-M company, which previously sold carpets.

Fedorov stated that he learned about the inflated prices in September 2023 and contacted NABU.

The Cabinet allocated another 48 billion hryvnias for the purchase of UAVs for the "Drone Army" next year, in 2024, through the same State Intelligence Service.
