In Vinnytsia region, border guards have caught a man who was trying to travel to Germany using forged documents. As reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine, during the inspection, he presented reservation papers and a business trip order that had obvious signs of forgery.
During the interview, the offender was unable to clearly explain the purpose of his trip, was not familiar with the activities of the company on whose behalf he allegedly traveled, and was confused in his answers. It turned out that he acted on the instructions of the so-called "curator", who gave him instructions on how to behave during the control. In the last message, this curator wrote: "I am waiting for the verdict."
The check showed that the director of the company the man referred to did not sign any documents and did not even know this "employee."
After establishing the fact of forgery of documents, border guards refused the man permission to leave Ukraine. The incident was reported to the National Police to open criminal proceedings on the fact of forgery of official documents and an attempt to illegally cross the border.
Such cases are becoming increasingly common during martial law, when individual citizens try to travel abroad using fake booking certificates or fictitious travel orders. Border guards emphasize that they check each document carefully, and attempts at deception inevitably end in the opening of a criminal case.
