Mykola Stefanchuk, deputy from the Servant of the People party from Khmelnytskyi and the younger brother of Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk, became the object of attention after it became known that he receives a pension due to the confirmation of disability issued by the Khmelnytskyi Medical and Social Expert Commission.
Stefanchuk has been declaring his disability pension since 2019. He received confirmation of the diagnosis in Khmelnytskyi, where at that time the head of the commission was the scandalous Tetiana Krupa. It is worth noting that the future "honored lawyer of Ukraine" in 2003 earned a diploma with honors in the specialty "Law" at the Khmelnytskyi Institute of Regional Administration and Law. Three years later, Stefanchuk already became an associate professor of the department of this institute, perhaps not without the influence of his family.
As noted in the declaration, Stefanchuk earned 800 thousand in the Verkhovna Rada in 2023. UAH But this is not his only income - he also declared 42,000 UAH of the salary received at the Scientific Research Institute of Intellectual Property, and 477,000 UAH. hryvnias at Kyiv Shevchenko University.
