The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine provides support to Russian volunteers from the "Freedom of Russia" legion, the Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) and the "Siberian Battalion" who are operating on the territory of Russia in order to help Ukraine defend its territorial integrity. This was announced by the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, adding that their role is to provide assistance, advice and support.
At the press conference held on March 21, the volunteers stated that the main purpose of their raid was to support the Defense Forces of Ukraine in order to win the war with the aggressor country. They also expressed their desire to continue the liberation march and raise the RDK flag over the Kremlin wall.
The head of intelligence emphasized that these actions of Russian volunteers in the Belgorod and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation are the beginning of the struggle for their country, which is moving into a new phase of uniting opposition forces with the aim of saving Russia from falling into the abyss.
It was also stated that the Russian rebels from the "Freedom of Russia" legion, RDK and "Siberian Battalion" plan to continue their activities, and Ukraine is ready to provide them with support.
Representatives of the Russian volunteer formations reported that during more than a week of fighting in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, the Russian army lost more than 1,500 people, including irreversible and sanitary losses.
