According to the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 162 combat clashes took place in different directions of the front in the past day. Most of the fighting, almost half, took place in the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsky directions, where Ukrainian soldiers stopped the offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of several settlements.
According to detailed information, the enemy carried out 87 airstrikes and 5,168 shellings, including 110 with the use of rocket salvo systems. Two missile strikes were also carried out on the positions of Ukrainian units. In response, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit 13 areas of concentration of troops and equipment, two ammunition warehouses, as well as several important enemy facilities.
The situation in the main directions
- Kurakhiv direction : The most intense battles, where the Defense Forces repelled 47 attacks. The enemy tried to advance in the areas of Illinka, Voznesenka and Antonivka.
- Pokrovsky direction : 28 attempted assaults were recorded, in particular near Promin and Lysivka. Our defenders successfully stopped all offensive maneuvers of the enemy.
- Kharkiv direction : Eight enemy attacks in the Vovchansk region, which were repulsed by the Ukrainian military.
- Kupian direction : 17 attacks were recorded, which were stopped near Kolisnykyvka and Kruglyakivka.
- Lyman direction : The enemy launched six attacks near Grekivka and Novomykhailivka.
- Dnieper direction : Five attacks by Russian troops, all of which were severely repulsed with losses for the enemy.
- Toretsky direction : Eleven attacks where the occupiers operated with the involvement of aviation. Our soldiers repelled the enemy near Toretsk and Shcherbinivka.
In other directions, in particular in Volyn and Polissia, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected. At the same time, on the borders with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russian troops continue artillery and air strikes on Ukrainian settlements.
Operation in the Kursk region
Ukrainian forces also successfully resisted 20 enemy attacks in the Kursk region, where the active operation continues. According to available information, Russian troops do not stop shelling their own territory, trying to stage attacks from Ukraine. Last day, 24 airstrikes were recorded on Russian territories using 34 air bombs.
