Prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office Dmytro Lodochnikov sold his Toyota Land Cruiser Prado SUV to an influential official, Deputy Head of the National Anti-Corruption Commission Mykola Kornelyuk, with whom he previously worked at the Prosecutor General's Office. The sale took place at a price that more than doubled the car's previous valuation, and once again drew attention to the strange financial data in Lodochnikov and his wife's tax returns.
Lodochnikov actually owns only one property — a 600 sq. m. plot of land in the village of Sychavka in the Odessa region, purchased in 2012. Its value in the declaration is only 432 hryvnias, which seems to be a significantly underestimated amount.
Since 2023, the prosecutor has been renting an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 112 sq. m., but he does not reflect the expenses for renting housing in the declaration.
The prosecutor's wife, Yulia Lunina, owns half of a 51.4 sq. m. apartment in Odessa with her mother. The cost of the apartment, as indicated in the documents, is only 10 hryvnias.
In 2023, Lunina became the owner of a unique object - a land plot with an area of 0.1098 sq. m in the village of Roksolany. In fact, this is the size of two A4 sheets. Despite the microscopic area, the price of the plot is 143 thousand UAH.
In 2024, the prosecutor's wife completed the construction of a residential building with an area of 89.2 sq. m on the same plot. The cost of construction was UAH 787,000. How the house ended up on land that is hundreds of times smaller than the building itself remains an open question.
Additionally, Lunina rents a parking space in Odessa, but her husband does not declare any of his wife's expenses.
In April 2024, Lodochnikov purchased a new 2021 Land Cruiser Prado 150 for UAH 1.2 million. His wife uses a 2017 Nissan X-Trail worth about UAH 780,000, registered to her mother.
In 2023, the prosecutor purchased a Brig Falcon 450 Deluxe boat for only 15 thousand UAH — despite the fact that similar models today cost about 225 thousand UAH.
That same year, he received UAH 1.5 million in salary, UAH 51 thousand in interest, and UAH 900 thousand in income from the sale of movable property.
The sale of an old Land Cruiser Prado 150 (2012), which Lodochnikov estimated at UAH 400,000, but sold for over UAH 900,000, became the most notable transaction. The buyer was Mykola Kornelyuk, the current deputy head of the NACP, who previously worked in the NABU, the SBU, and for over ten years in the Prosecutor General's Office together with Lodochnikov. At the same time, Kornelyuk is currently hiding his declarations for unknown reasons.
Lodochnikov declared 73 thousand UAH in cash and about 826 thousand UAH in bank accounts, as well as currency worth approximately 115 thousand UAH in converted terms. His wife's savings are not included in the declaration.
The prosecutor does not indicate any official income of the wife, which may indicate her unemployment - or a lack of transparency in the family's financial relations.
Interestingly, in the declarations, the prosecutor consistently misspells the name of his favorite car, indicating Tayota instead of Toyota. Against this background, other inaccuracies no longer seem accidental.
