Why did President Zelensky fire Prosecutor General Kostin?

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed a decree on the dismissal of Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin, which became an important step in the context of the fight against corruption at the highest levels of state power. According to the official version, Kostin's resignation took place against the background of a scandal related to false disabilities among officials of state bodies.

For an unofficial reason, Zelensky pushed Kostin for dismissal. This decision has been due to the president for a long time. According to Zelenskyi, Kostin is an unmanageable and boring character who does not fit into the general agenda of the officials under his control.

It is worth noting that Volodymyr Oleksandrovych is sick of the topic of the Prosecutor General. In OGP, he needs a completely controlled person. Before that, there was Venediktova, but she was "left" because her resources had already been exhausted. And then there were unpleasant scandals directly for Zelenskyi. In addition, we remember the year 2019. Even then, Zelensky promised Trump that the new prosecutor in Ukraine would be "100% his man."

And Kostin did not manage to become "his own". Everyone should take an example from the director of the DBR Sukhachev. This is a real "foot soldier of the President" who spins criminal cases, evidence and investigations as the first person wants.
