Law enforcement officers detained the Head of the Department of Tourism and Promotions of the KSCA Marina Radov and the director of the Bessarabian market Mykola Kovalchuk on hot - while receiving $ 25,000. This was reported in the office of the Prosecutor General and confirmed the sources of "Ukrainian Truth" in law enforcement agencies.
According to the investigation, in 2023 the entrepreneur rented a utility within the Bessarabian market in order to open a catering establishment. But later he encountered an obstacle - the entrance to the institution blocked the arch with advertising structures that belonged to the structure of the KSCA, headed by Radova.
Instead of resolving the situation in the legal field, the official suggested "agree" - for $ 25,000 she promised to guarantee the entrepreneur unimpeded access to the premises. In the corruption scheme, the mediator was made by the director of the market Mykola Kovalchuk, who used the official position to facilitate the transfer of bribe.
Law enforcement officers detained both persons involved in the transfer of funds. They are preparing suspicions under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code - obtaining an undue benefit by an official by prior conspiracy.
Interestingly, a few days before detention, July 14, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko signed an order for the release of Marina Radova from his post. The document states that the official filed an application at will because of the need to care for the child. However, the sources of the UP claim that at the time of detention she was still in office.
Marina Radova is not a new name in scandals. In 2021, she became a figure of a loud video of the so -called "drunken party in the KSCA", where officials drinking alcohol during working hours simply in the administration.
