The Uzhhorod City District Court has handed down a verdict in the case of Andriy Samarchenko, a native of Severodonetsk, who was accused of collaborating with Russian companies during the full-scale war. The man was found guilty of collaboration and was fined 102,000 hryvnias with confiscation of property.
According to court documents, Samarchenko previously worked for PrJSC Severodonetsk Orghim, a company specializing in design and technical documentation for the chemical, oil and gas industries. By 2022, the company's clients included Russian corporations such as Lukoil and Rosneft.
After the war, Samarchenko and his partners founded the company TechInnovations in Moscow and continued to develop software products for industrial clients, including Norilsk Nickel. At the same time, he remained an employee of Orghim as head of the project management office.
The investigation established that by March 2025, Samarchenko and his accomplices transferred about 400 thousand euros from Russia to Ukraine through the Lithuanian company TP AIM UAB.
The defendant pleaded guilty and entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor. The court took into account his cooperation with law enforcement during the investigation.
Judge Oleksiy Fazykosh found Samarchenko guilty under the article on collaboration activities. In addition to the fine and confiscation of property, the man was deprived of the right to develop software projects for Russian oil refining, metallurgical and other enterprises for 10 years.
