From today, more than 40 more traffic violation automatic recording systems will be launched in Ukraine

From August 26, 2024, 43 new automatic traffic violation detection systems (SDA) will appear on Ukrainian roads. This will increase the total number of such systems to 308. With the new devices, the authorities hope to improve control over compliance with traffic rules and reduce the number of road accidents.

What violations will the new complexes record?

Among the new complexes, 42 will record exceeding the established speed limits. One complex in the city of Bila Tserkva will monitor not only speeding, but also traffic violations and stopping in the lane for route vehicles.

According to Ukrainian law, fines for speeding are as follows:

• For exceeding the speed limit by more than 20 km/h - 340 UAH.
