On the Ukrainian-Polish border, at the Rava-Ruska - Hrebenne checkpoint, Lviv customs officers stopped a truck in which they found excisable goods worth over 2.8 million hryvnias.

As Lviv Customs reported on August 18, the truck was driven by a 39-year-old resident of Lviv region. According to documents, he was transporting consolidated cargo.

During the inspection, customs officers found 7,500 disposable electronic cigarettes Elf Bar and 500 bottles of vape liquids of the same brand. The approximate value of the seized goods exceeds UAH 2.8 million. A report has been drawn up on this fact in accordance with Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.

Customs officers also notified the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, as there are signs of a criminal offense under Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation for the purpose of selling excisable goods). The investigation is ongoing.
