Ukrainian choreographer and showman Dmytro Kolyadenko spoke harshly about three famous artists — Oleg Vinnyk, Potap (Oleksiy Potapenko), and Vlad Yam. According to him, these stars “keep silent about the war,” despite having a huge audience, which is why he considers them “traitors” and refuses to even shake their hands.
" I am annoyed by Vinnyk, Potap and Vlad Yama. They are silent! We are at war. These are people who had an audience of millions... I do not respect them. I will not give them a hand: neither Vlad, nor Vinnyk, nor Potap. These are not the guys of Ukraine. These are traitors ," said Kolyadenko.
The showman believes that famous performers and public figures should be more active in talking about Russia's war against Ukraine and influencing their audience, instead of "pretending as if nothing is happening." He added that over time, Ukrainians can indeed forgive many artists who have gone abroad, but he personally will not forget this: " Ukrainians are good, they are sincere, they can forget. But I will remind you ," Kolyadenko said.
Where are the artists mentioned by Kolyadenko now?
• Oleg Vynnyk left for Germany after the start of the full-scale invasion. The singer himself stated that he crossed the border legally, since he has the status of a resident of this country.
• Potap sharply lost the support of part of the Ukrainian audience after February 24, 2022. He performs abroad under the Slavic Balagan project, develops business outside Ukraine, and occasionally comes home, but high-profile scandals constantly arise around him.
• Dancer and television showman Vlad Yama, together with his wife and son, left Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The family lives in the USA, in particular in Miami. He regularly appears on social networks with videos from vacations and parties, which has repeatedly caused a wave of criticism among Ukrainians.
Kolyadenko criticizes not only the fact of the artists' departure abroad after the start of a full-scale war, but primarily their silence or very limited public positions on Russian aggression. When the host clarified that Potap sometimes spoke about the war, Kolyadenko shrugged it off: " What did he say? He said that three years later? " and repeated that he did not respect any of the three.
