The SBI stated its intention to check the actions of General Sodol in the context of the allegations made regarding his behavior and possible offenses. This became known after the representative of "Azov" Krotevych made statements regarding the actions of the general, which, according to him, need to be checked.
This is reported by the mass media, which have read the department's response to "Azovian" Krotevych.
The SBI replied to Krotevych that his statement based on the facts of possible excess of official powers and incompetent command of the troops by the commander of the Khortyts military unit Yuriy Sodol was considered and, based on the results of the processing, was added to the materials of the actual criminal case regarding the circumstances of the breach of the border by the Russian military in the Kharkiv region, in which , among other things, provides a legal assessment of the actions of the military command of the Khortytsya Air Force Base during the planning and conduct of defense operations in the assigned direction.
The Bureau promised the "Azov" representative that the circumstances presented by him would be checked.
Krotevych himself said on the X social network the day before that "he is not satisfied with the answer of the SBI."
"Next is the work of lawyers, I am grateful to everyone who supports. I ask the military not to be afraid to testify (including non-public ones), we will not back down," the "Azov resident" added.
Earlier, People's Deputy Maryana Bezugla made a loud statement, accusing General Yury Sodol of the breakthrough of the Russian occupation forces in Toretsk, Donetsk region. She noted on Facebook on June 21 that because of this, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost the positions they had held since 2014. The next day, June 22, Bezugla published a new post, where she reported that during the breakthrough, General Sodol was allegedly in the Oblaka restaurant in Odesa and was drinking alcohol. She added a relevant photo to the post.
According to her, the Odesa generals' party is a broad circular bond with the Russian crowd, it is about military commissars Borisov, Kivalov and Zaluzhny, about Kovalchuk, who was responsible for the south in 2022. Kovalchuk's deputy was General Sokolov, who was responsible for Chongar, and not only is he still not sitting, but the criminal proceedings against him "are dragging on."

Currently, the former commander of the United Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Sodol (he was drinking in Odesa during the attack on Toretsk) and the former head of the operational-tactical group of the "Kharkiv" troops, Yuriy Galushkin, who were responsible for the defense in the Kharkiv direction, are currently undergoing "treatment/examination ” in Dnipro in the Eastern Region VMCC.
