Most of the submitted declarations, namely 112,000, were related to the right to a tax discount. The amount of personal income tax to be refunded from the budget amounted to 444 million hryvnias.
A total of 4.53 billion hryvnias of personal income tax and 946.09 million hryvnias of military duty were paid based on the results of income declaration by individuals in 2023.
In September of the previous year, the Verkhovna Rada decided to restore electronic declaration for officials and deputies, as well as to submit declarations for 2023, 2021 and 2022. This initiative is important for Ukraine, in particular, in the context of negotiations on joining the European Union.
