NABU and SAP were brought to clean water another corruption scheme - this time around the expert monetary valuation of land. Deputies, appraisers and those who should stand on the guard of transparent transactions are involved in the case.
The essence of the equipment is simple and banal, as the system of valuation in Ukraine: you want the land to be evaluated humanly-enter. You want to sell without problems - pay. Otherwise - you get a "gold plot" with which no one wants to deal with.
In the focus, the case is a deputy of the Cherkasy Regional Council and two co -founders of the company, which is engaged in land valuation. According to the investigation, in 2023, one of the co -founders directly suggested the deputy: either pay or the cost of your plot in the report will fly to heaven.
Instead of contacting law enforcement, the deputy agreed and transferred funds to the card of another co -founder. The one, in the best traditions of schemes, divided the amount with a partner. After that, the LLC prepared the necessary assessment, which immediately put a "positive review".
As NABU established, it was not a single case. The firm regularly provided similar services - not free of charge, of course. Their reports are already in the case of land sale for nothing in Transcarpathia.
The defendants have already been informed of the suspicion:

One of the co -founders - under Part 4 of Art. 368-4 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (receiving undue benefit by the person providing public services);

The other - under Part 1 of Art. 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (legalization of funds obtained by crime);

the deputy of the regional council - on the same part 1 of Art. 368-4 of the Criminal Code (receiving undue benefit by the person providing public services).
This is another example as the assessment of property has become a tool of pressure and "earnings". The cost of land is no longer a question of the market, but the subject of backstage. And reviews that should be an objective filter have long become part of the scheme.
Now the case is a court. But in view of the scale, it is worth expecting not only sentences - but also new such cases. Because the "money in exchange for a valuation" does not work for the first year - and it seems not the last.
