More than 5 million hryvnias - just so much may be lost by a deputy of one of the settlement councils of the Brovarsky district of Kyiv region, if the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court will satisfy the claim of prosecutors of the SAP. The claim was filed on the basis of NAPC materials and with the assistance of the Brovar District Prosecutor's Office. It is about recognizing the assets of the official unjustified and recovering them into the state income.
Among the property in the focus of anti -corruption bodies - two elite cars: Volkswagen ID.4 2023 of the issue of more than 1 million UAH and Jaguar XF in 2015. Formally, these cars belong to the former wife and the adult son of the deputy, however, as the investigation revealed, they are used by the official.
In addition to cars, 10 land plots, designed for close relatives - mother -in -law, former wife and son, were questioned. The total value of these assets exceeds UAH 5 million. According to the NAPC's findings, family income does not allow the legally to own this property.
Moreover, when the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has started monitoring the lifestyle of the deputy, his mother -in -law has hurried part of the plots for other relatives. But the assets could not be withdrawn: WAKS managed to seize the property.
Now the final decision is by court. If he recognizes assets unjustified, they will become the property of the state. This will be another example of how false persons are used to mask a luxurious life for money of unknown origin.
