Information on the alleged detention of the deputy of the Odessa City Council Olga Kvasnitskaya for hooliganism at Deribasovskaya caused a real media explosion. Telegram-channels have spread reports of composed materials under Article 296 of the Criminal Code-they say, Kwasnitskaya performed Russian songs simply in the city center, provoking indignation among the families of the dead military.
The deputy himself categorically denies his guilt. In a comment to StopCor, she stated that she did not sing any songs, was not detained and called the situation "purposeful provocation". According to her, she herself applied to the police on April 8 on the unauthorized meeting in the center of Odessa, where, as she claims, "destabilize the situation."
"This is an order for me. The page on social networks was broken, the forbidden content was published. I think that the Trukhanov team is behind it," Kvasnytska said.
However, there are more and more questions around the figure of deputy in recent years - and it is not just about information attacks.
Olga Kvasnitskaya positions herself as a fighter with violations of town planning legislation. However, in a number of media, it is accused of selectivity: the objects of its "attention" are primarily representatives of small and medium -sized businesses, while large developers often stay away.

The same structure appears in proceedings for possible breakdown of budgetary funds for documentation for educational institutions.
Kwasnitskaya responds equally to all accusations - it is not related to the business of the man, and her actions - exclusively within the limits of parliamentary powers.
In wartime, the deputies' actions are raising more questions not only with colleagues but also by local entrepreneurs. A group of businessmen has addressed the President, Prosecutor General and local authorities. The document refers to the "systematic use of the deputy mandate for pressure" and the signs of a possible criminal offense.
Whether Kvasnytsky really pursues good goals, whether her public activity has become a convenient tool for solving behind -the -scenes interests - the question remains open. But the further - the more people put it aloud.
