A scandal broke out in Odesa Regional Children's Hospital related to the receipt of overdue humanitarian aid. The management of the hospital stated that the received medicines and medical materials provided by the deputies of the "Batkivshchyna" party have already expired.
The other day, the management of Odesa Regional Children's Hospital announced that local deputies from the "Batkivshchyna" party brought humanitarian aid to the medical facility with medicines whose expiration date had long passed. Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, intervened in the situation, publicly calling such "PR" agents saboteurs. However, instead of an apology, the representative of "Batkivshchyna" came to the hospital and read the doctors.
Among other things, we are talking about Serhiy Shutov, head of the "Noble Cause" charitable foundation, a member of the Odesa organization of the "Batkivshchyna" party. The latter came to the hospital for a meeting with doctors.
In the video published by the "Dumska" publication, it can be heard that Shutov's conversation with the medics took place in raised tones. Several times the medics even had to urge Shutov to calm down, reminding them that he was the one who asked them for a meeting.
"Shutov, who, among other things, is the head of a charitable foundation, was waiting, considering everything, that the doctors would justify themselves. And he behaved at least defiantly," the publication notes.
At the same time, the head of the fund assured that there was no delay as such, and the medicines, whose expiration date expires in September, are completely suitable for use. In addition, according to him, the humanitarian worker's party also had bed linen, but it definitely has no expiration date.
"We hope that the representatives of "Batkivshchyna" will not decide to go to the hospital again and clarify the relationship, just because of this video. Doctors still need to work," sums up "Dumska".
