According to the anti-fraud project "190", Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office Dmytro Sitar and his family own several apartments in Kyiv, have significant cash savings and a fleet of cars - most of the assets are registered in the name of his wife Alina Motuzkova.
Dmytro Sitar has been working in the prosecutor's office since 2014; since July 2025 he has held the position of Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, before that he was the First Deputy Head of the Pechersk District Prosecutor's Office. The prosecutor's father, Vasyl Sitar, a former SBU employee, previously headed the SBU departments in Zhytomyr and Zakarpattia regions; according to the investigation, family and regional ties are associated with political circles in Zakarpattia.
Most of the real estate is listed on his wife: several apartments in Kyiv (including an apartment of 53.24 m², an apartment of 82.6 m², and an unfinished construction site of 40.52 m²). Sitar indicates that he lives in one of his wife's apartments. Last year, he received over UAH 1.2 million in salary and UAH 2.5 million in income from the alienation of real estate; his wife declared income from entrepreneurial activity and over UAH 2 million from the alienation of real estate. According to the results of the investigation, the spouses' cash reserves and hryvnia savings, as stated in the declarations, exceed UAH 9 million.
Regarding transportation: the family fleet includes a Mitsubishi Pajero (2006), which Sitar sold to his father-in-law, and a 2021 Nissan X-Trail, which, according to the investigation, was given to his wife by her father.
The investigation also highlights Sitar's previous work as an assistant to MP Serhiy Moshak and his rapprochement with the current leadership of the prosecutor's office — in particular, with Dmytro Prokudin, who became head of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office in July 2025.
