Ukrainian MP Fedir Venislavsky, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, has found himself at the center of a corruption scandal. According to available materials, the parliamentarian used relatives and controlled legal entities to hide real income and property, which creates signs of systemic illicit enrichment.
In February 2025, Venislavsky purchased an apartment with an area of 155 m² in the BAYZ 101 residential complex in Dubai. The cost of such housing exceeds 1.2 million US dollars (over 50 million UAH). This purchase is not included in the People's Deputy's declaration, which directly contradicts the legislation on mandatory declaration. The fact of purchasing real estate during the war caused a special resonance due to its demonstrative luxury.
Another element of the scheme was the use of a 2017 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG car, worth about UAH 3 million. Formally, the car belongs to a close relative of the deputy, but Venislavsky himself uses it. This practice allows him to avoid the obligation to declare and hide his real property situation.
In his declaration, the MP indicated over 123,000 USD in cash, which does not match his official income. At the same time, he continued to receive compensation from the budget for renting housing in Kyiv, although he owns a spacious apartment in the capital. This may indicate the misappropriation of budget funds allocated for parliamentary needs.
