The state compensates employers with 700 euros for the training of women instead of mobilized men — the Ministry of Economy

In the conditions of a full-scale war and mass mobilization, Ukraine continues to adapt the labor market to new challenges. In order to fill personnel gaps and support the economy, the state is ready to compensate employers for the costs of training women to master professions previously performed by mobilized men. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

The agency writes that a company that decided to train women in traditionally male professions according to the list approved by the Cabinet of Ministers can claim UAH 30,280 from the state for one woman trained, but no more.

Among the three dozen professions that women will be able to master:

– driver of a tram, trolleybus, forklift;
– operator of machines with software control;
– milling machine;
- master of installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems.

To order training and receive compensation, the employer must contact the employment center.
