Information appeared on the network that Russia treats drones with unknown substances that can cause chemical burns. However, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Serhii Lysak, denied these statements, stressing that no case of such burns was recorded in the region.
"The network was shaken by the news - the enemy is using a chemical substance in UAVs. In contact with the skin, it causes burns. Please do not panic! There was no such case in our region. This is officially confirmed by the regional health department," Lysak noted in his statement.
At the same time, he emphasized the importance of following safety rules: "Do not touch suspicious objects. If you see these, contact emergency services immediately. Call 101 or 102."
This information was confirmed by the spokesman of the United Defense Forces of Ukraine "Tavria", Dmytro Lykhovi, who said that the Russian occupiers use ammunition with poisonous substances every day in the area of responsibility of their troops.
Russian troops are known to use banned chemical weapons, including chlorpicrin, in battles along the entire front line in Ukraine. These actions are believed to be aimed at weakening Ukrainian troops and forcing them to retreat from fortified positions.
