The wife of the famous singer Viktor Pavlik, blogger and businesswoman Kateryna Repyakhova, addressed her followers on Instagram with an emotional message about the health problems of their 3-year-old son Mykhailik.
Kateryna shared that Mykhailo is facing a speech delay, which has become a big test for the family. She said that the star parents spent a lot of effort on examinations and consultations with specialists, and recently underwent a genetic analysis. According to the test results, Mykhailo's speech delay was not hereditary.
However, after receiving the results, Repyakhova decided to contact another specialist for confirmation. With tears in her eyes, she said that she was unable to get a consultation from a professor at the genetics center because of his busy schedule. This was a big blow for Kateryna, who is now in a state of despair and stress.
"I cannot understand the results of the genetic test. I am still shocked by the fact that the professor refused in two words... It is very difficult for me," she admitted.
Kateryna noted that she made an appointment with another doctor, hoping to get more clarity about her son's condition. She also doubted the expediency of genetic analysis, considering it useless and stressful for the family.
"Genetics is still a fairly young science, and there are many inaccuracies. Maybe something bad will happen, maybe not. But why should I keep it in my head?” Repyakhova added.
