An accident in Lviv region: Volkswagen driver flew into a fence - one woman was killed

In Lviv region there was a deadly road accident: on June 22 in the evening in the village of Verkhny Yablunka of the Borinsky community, a woman at the wheel of Volkswagen Passat B7 did not cope with control and went beyond the roadway, then cut into a metal fence.

According to the Department of Civil Protection of the Lviv Regional State Administration, a 39-year-old resident of the village was at the wheel. As a result of the collision, a 40-year-old passenger was killed at the scene. Another woman, 35 years old, was seriously injured with the driver and were urgently hospitalized.

Law enforcement officers are currently finding out all the circumstances of the accident. According to preliminary information, a version of speeding and loss of car control is considered. A medical examination will also be carried out for the presence of alcohol or other substances in the blood of the driver.

The tragedy stirred the community: she was killed by a local resident well known in the village. Doctors fight for the lives of other victims.

The issue of the opening of criminal proceedings on a deadly accident is resolved.
