The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has completed full inspections of the declarations of the heads of two key utilities Kharkiv - KP "Kharkiv thermal networks" and KP "Kharkivzelenbud". The results of inspections revealed a large -scale concealment of property, income and other assets, the total amount of which exceeds UAH 14 million.
According to the NAPC, the director of KP "Kharkivzelenbud" in declarations for 2022 and 2023 did not specify several real estate objects, including a garden house with an area of almost 90 square meters, two land plots, as well as real estate abroad, where his wife and children actually lived. In addition, the official did not declare the vehicles used by his wife, his wife's income from the sale of the car and cash savings. In 2023 alone, the amount of false data in the declaration exceeded UAH 8.8 million.
The CEO of KP "Kharkiv Thermal Networks" in the declaration for 2021 did not indicate the presence of solar power plants belonging to him and his wife, and also hid the income received from their operation. In addition, he indicated false information on the rental of real estate and the cost of the Mercedes-Benz V 250 car, which belongs to his wife. The total amount of hidden assets is over UAH 1.44 million.
In the actions of both NAPC officials, the signs of a criminal offense under Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-"Declaration of false information". In this regard, the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kharkiv Oblast launched appropriate criminal proceedings.
