Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have informed the new suspicion of the former head of the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in Khmelnytsky region. According to the investigation, in 2021 Vasyl Vasylenko, while in the post of chief, illegally transferred to the private property of the community land - 49 hectares of the territory of Borisovsky village council of Shepetivsky district.
The communal property areas could not be alienated by the decision of the official. However, despite this, Vasilenko signed 27 orders for the transfer of land to false persons. According to experts, the cost of the transferred areas exceeds UAH 2.4 million. Currently, there is a quarry for mining - sand, gravel, clay and kaolin on these lands.
The DBR states that the issue of the arrest of these plots and their return to the community, as well as the compensation of the damage caused to the state, is currently being resolved.
The former official reported suspicion of several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 364 (abuse of office by prior conspiracy);
- Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 1 of Art. 366 (service for prior conspiracy by a group of persons).
The maximum punishment under these articles is up to 6 years in prison.
Despite the fact that the official message of the DBR did not mention the name of the suspect, the sources of "Glavkom" in law enforcement agencies confirmed that it was about Vasyl Vasylenko. It also appears in a number of other cases regarding the illegal alienation of state land.
In total, the DBR exposed the facts of illegal transfer of 135 hectares of land for over UAH 6.5 million. The courts have already listened to cases regarding the sites of the China and Staroushitsky settlement councils, as well as on the facts of the transfer of 70 hectares within the peace community.
