Raisa Bogatyryova - a former health minister and one of Viktor Yanukovych's most influential associates - recalled herself again. For the fourth year, she has been trying to recalculate the pension through the court. This time, the case, which was not considered by the infamous OASK, was taken over by the Volyn District Administrative Court.
In the lawsuit filed in May 2021, Bogatyryova demands that the Pension Fund of Ukraine be obliged to transfer to her a pension by age, leaving 90% of the salary of the current People's Deputy as of January 1, 2021. According to the calculations, it is more than 20 thousand hryvnias a month. Arguments - her deputy experience and reference to the law on the status of the People's Deputy.
After the liquidation of the OASC in December 2022, the case was suspended in the air. But on March 3, 2025, the Volyn court decided to hear the case in written proceedings without calling the parties.
According to the declarations, in 2012, the pension of Bogatyryova amounted to about 16.5 thousand hryvnias a month. Given the overall standard of living and scandals around it, even such a sum has already surprised in society.
However, the Pension Fund refused to provide any information on pensions of persons such as Yanukovych, Azarov, Tabachnik or Bogatyryova. Argumentation can create for them a "hostile psychological background" and "jeopardize their health."
However, public resonance causes not only the amount of pension. Bogatyryova, which was accused of stealing funds for the purchase of medicines for the Ministry of Health, as early as 2021, the court renewed access to a luxurious estate on state-owned states in Koncha Zaspa. At one time, she built a house there as part of an "investment project", but after the Revolution of Dignity, she was deprived of the right to use real estate. The trial is still ongoing.
Raisa Bogatyryova was a figure not only political but also family-business. Her sons - Alexander and Igor - have launched large -scale schemes in the energy and pharmaceutical sectors. One - he received millions of state supplies for drug supply, the other - for modernization of the TPP.
After the Revolution of Dignity, Bogatyryov left Ukraine, and in 2019 she returned where it was detained. But soon they were released on bail. Later, the Anti -Corruption Court abolished both the arrest and a preventive measure. Since then, there is little heard, but the litigation for a "deputy" pension shows that the struggle for status and privileges is ongoing.
