Russian statements about the possibility of launching 500 shahad drones per day are an exaggeration and are not confirmed by the real rate of production. Aviation expert Konstantin Krivolap said this on news factories.
According to him, the Russian production of "Shahamed" is currently at the level of 85-90 units, and raising volumes to 500 looks unlikely.
"Judging by the balance sheet that is applied - they produce at 85-90. That is, an increase in the number of this year looks more fantasy than a reliable fact," the expert explained.
Krivolap also emphasized a significant reduction in the effectiveness of Shahanedov in the conditions of Ukrainian air defense. If a few months ago the accuracy of the blows of these drones was higher, now the Ukrainian air defense forces destroy up to 88-89% of such goals, even in the most difficult situations.
"It says we are able to defend ourselves, but we need to improve, strengthen, change the work for these purposes. More aviation should be used. We need to improve radar detection products," Kryvolap added.
We will remind, at the beginning of March the deputy chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Major General Vadim Skibitsky reported that according to the plans of the Russian command, in the event of production indicators, they could run up to 500 drones at the same time. However, in reality, Russia does not reach this scale.
