The famous chef and presenter, Hector Jimenez-Bravo, impressed his fans with a frank story about how a person close to him recently hurt him. The chef revealed in the video that he was told he was not Ukrainian, which caused a strong reaction and disappointment.
"I have been in Ukraine for 15 years. And all this time I heard that I am not Ukrainian and "Go to your Colombia." The most insulting thing for me was that this time these words came from a person close to me. It left a chill in my heart. I'm disappointed and just… I'm at a loss for words. There will always be those who tell you what to do, who to be - never listen. Stand your ground. Keep doing what you're doing," Jimenez-Bravo said in the video.
The cook, who defined himself as a true Ukrainian, expressed his attachment to Ukraine and admitted that this country is his native home. He assured that he will do everything in his power to help his "family", considering every Ukrainian as his family.
"In my heart I am a Ukrainian. I will do everything I can, in my hands, in my heart, to help my whole family. Who is my family? Every Ukrainian. And my heart is here, in Ukraine. It was It is. And it always will be," the chef added, emphasizing his unmistakable attachment to the country where he spent a significant part of his life.
