As of the end of July, about 615,000 conscripted men have been deferred from conscription due to reservation. This information was provided by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Among all postponements, the most "reserved" work in the energy industry. In particular, the Ministry of Economy issued 33,782 reservation orders, of which 17,632 are still valid.
The distribution of "reserved" by industry is as follows:
- Energy sector – 29%
- Industry and production – 15%
- Transport – 14%
- agro-industrial complex – 12%
- Medicine – 6%
- Defense-industrial complex – 5%
- State authorities and other state bodies – 4%
- IT specialists and the field of electronic communications – 2%
- Financial and banking sphere – 2%
- The sphere of trade – 2%
- Local bodies of executive power and bodies of local self-government – 2%
- Others – 7%
At the same time, the Verkhovna Rada has already registered two draft laws proposing new rules for the "economic reservation" of employees. According to these proposals, enterprises paying EUV over 40,000 hryvnias and having a staff of 10 or more will be able to book up to 50% of conscripts, conscripts and reservists. The draft laws were introduced by deputy Lyudmila Buimister and are already available on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.
