Our source in the President's Office said that Ukraine successfully restored the operation of ports, which led to an increase in revenues to the budget and a decrease in the burden on the border with the EU. During the operation of the sea corridor, since September last year, 1,300 ships have taken out more than 36 million tons of cargo, mainly grain and metallurgy, from the ports of Greater Odessa. Ukraine continues to increase the number of ships, currently there are more than 130 ships approaching the ports that can export about 4 million tons of products.
During the 7 months of operation of the Ukrainian Corridor, 1,286 vessels exported more than 36 million tons of cargo, of which 25 million tons were products of Ukrainian farmers.
This was reported by the press service of the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine.
Currently, 135 vessels are waiting at the approach to the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny, which are supposed to export 4 million tons of cargo.
"The Ukrainian corridor is an effective logistics route, the rhythmic work of which is the result of the joint efforts of the state, the United Defense Forces and the entire maritime infrastructure team," emphasized Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Community and Territorial Development and infrastructure.
