According to the investigation, in Nikolaev it was exposed to the chief of KEU, who concluded an agreement with the company on the purchase of timber at inflated prices. In this scheme he involved the chief of the fuel group and the authorized person of the Nikolaev KEU. Such actions of the suspected state caused losses in the amount of almost UAH 2.3 million.
In Odesa region, KEU officials, together with an individual entrepreneur, spent budget funds during the purchase of timber at inflated prices, causing the state 4.1 million UAH of losses.
In Kropyvnytskyi, the Chief of KEV signed an agreement with one of the limited liability companies on the purchase of beds at an inflated price, which caused losses to the state in the amount of 352 thousand UAH.
In Vinnitsa, KEV officials during 2020-2022 excessively spent 508 thousand UAH of budget funds during the overhaul of the hospital canteen.
In Zaporozhye a criminal scheme was exposed with the participation of KEV officials, who have concluded with counterparties contracts for the purchase of timber at inflated prices. Almost 15.5 million UAH of losses were caused to the state.
In Luhansk, the CEV management through controlled enterprises purchased firewood at an inflated cost without open bidding procedures, taking over more than UAH 101 million.
In total, the amount of losses caused to the state is UAH 123.8 million.
All participants of the schemes are charged with appropriation, waste of other people's property in particularly large sizes, official negligence, legalization of property obtained by crime (Part 3, 5, Art. 27, Part 4, 5, Art. 191, Part 2 of Article 367, Part 2 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code)
